Every year the Harley Davidson bikers of West Yorkshire meet in Baildon village, where my sister lives, for the annual charity ride, taking gifts to a local children’s hospital. This year about 300 noisy bikes gathered in the village centre, before setting off in convoy for a charity ride. I love this, the noise, atmosphere and the rock music. Hundreds of people were there to see them off. They set off downhill, but still manage a bit of noisy throttle to add to the atmosphere, and then a few minutes later they can be heard a mile way roaring up the hill out of the village as the convoy heads to the their next destination. PS Oh dear, I just realised that this is a Triumph. Perhaps there were 299 Harleys and a Triumph. But the rider is clearly a character and worthy of inclusion, I think.
