Every year my father and I go to the Rainbows Concert in the beautiful St James the Greater Church in Leicester. The concert raises funds for the Rainbows Young Peoples Hospice in Loughborough and is a really lovely evening, with carols and other seasonal songs, readings, and plenty of audience participation. It is generally the start of Christmas for me – with just two weeks until Christmas Day it must be time to start shopping for presents. One of my Christmas traditions is the annual resolution to be better organised next year. I never am.
