We've bin out in the snow

One from yesterday – a glance through a gateway at the side of a pretty tree lined track reveals these bins belonging to a small sand quarry which is located behind trees on the other side of the track. Today it’s been snowing nearly all day. During the current weather we seem to get the edge of precipitations that fall in the East or West and today I suspect that it’s Patricia in East Anglia with the most snow! This morning I walked the dogs before the onset of the snow, and from the fields I looked up to Croft Hill and saw the silhouette of a figure walking up the side of the hill, silhouetted against the sky. The Hill itself had disappeared - the snowy slopes were the same colour as the sky. I therefore had the surreal view of a lone walker floating across the sky above the Lane. Most disconcerting.
These skips actually look quite good with their various colours against the snow! Yes, you are right, we have had non-stop but light snow all day, about 2-3 inches have fallen on what was already there from last week.

Somehow the snow has made them look more attractive - I think it's the colours.
