At this time of the year any photos during the week will probably be of dawn or dusk. I am increasingly likely to be managing almost all of an evening walk without the dogs having to wear collar lights, especially on an evening like this one, when the sun descends below the clouds just before sinking below the horizon, and we get a bonus of a brief burst of sunshine. Water is once again standing on the fields following rain and sleet on the previous day – although the ground surface had become a tad less squidgy over the last couple of days, the water table was clearly not far below. Our walk to the pub on the previous evening was distinctly wet and muddy, and I had the embarrassment of two damp and odorous dogs at my feet, but they are regulars, and still got treats from the barmaid.
Haha, I always have a muddy and odorous dog! Roll on summer. Lovely burst of evening sun through the trees. Your footpaths look just like ours - I am delighted for a bit of frost so I can walk them!
