Fence post

With such a wet year, algae have proliferated – on garden fences, trees, and this case a fence post. During this forthcoming week last year I went gliding, it was 20C, with the hot sun on rooftops creating thermals that sent the glider soaring. Apparently even a full summer of rain would not alleviate the drought. The rain started a week later, and has barely stopped.

Haha! Well remembered! It hasn't stopped snowing all day here. Fine snow which blows about but thankfully doesn't stay on the roads which have been 'treated'.
