The first autumnal morning of the season – at least at a time when I am up and about. This morning the sun rose above misty fields, and so my first task (after putting the kettle on, obviously) was to go to the bottom of the garden with my camera. The valley at the bottom of the fields behind our home was filled with low lying mist, which was golden in the early morning sunlight as looked across to the village of Huncote, half a mile away, the hues gradually fading to the west. It’s not often that I am persuaded to take so many photos first thing in the morning, and all before my first cup of tea.
This is so beautiful a fav for me, has a great feeling to it. I took flower shots in the garden this morning and the first thing I thought was: there are the first signs of autumn
I missed that one didn't I? By the time I was up and out with the dogs the mist had almost gone and the colours had changed as the sun came up.
Well done you! Fav from me too!
