A walk along the beach. by shepherdman

A walk along the beach.

Having crossed the Afion Mawddach estuary by ferry to link up with a steam train, only to find that the trains were not running, we had a very pleasant walk on the strip of shoreline between the estuary and sea. For those of us living in the English Midlands, miles from the sea, the British coastline provides endless photographic opportunities. The coast doesn’t have to be dramatic or with wide sandy beaches and a sparkling blue sea – just a pebbly beach on a bright day provided ample entertainment.
Beautiful beach....:)

Beautifully done, proving what you said in your text. But I am intrigued by all the black dots on the pebbles!

@tishpics I didn't notice the dots! I think that they are shadows in small holes worn into the pebbles.

Havnt seen an interesting pebbly beach for ages. No better place for a good rout around, nearly always something interesting to be found. Great composition and view.
