I think that a lot of photos were taken before this gull could be persuaded to spread his wings for Shepherdman’s Wife. For quite a long time Shepherdmans Wife stared at the seagull, and seagull stared back at Shepherdmans’ Wife., while the me and the dogs stood at a respectful distance. Eventually the dogs and I were requested to walk slowly towards the gull until it made a few nervous flaps of his wings, and Shepherdmans Wife got her shot before the gull soared over the harbour.
