For such a small harbour, Mousehole harbours a variety of sizes of boats, from what seem like reasonably sized fishing boats, complete with nets and winding gear, down to small boats like this one, more suited to rod fishing, The really big commercial fishing boats hang out down the coast at Newlyn, which I think is one of the UK’s largest fishing ports. In Newlyn the harbour is industrial, with factories where tourists are tolerated provided that they stay out of the way. In Mousehole tourists are welcome to stroll around the harbour, photographing the boats and fishermen.
