As we return home along the field track behind our house we get this view towards Croft Hill at the end of our Lane, the top of the Hill hidden by the old barn. On this occasion the view is softened by dawn light and morning mist. From the perspective viewed from the lower fields our little row of houses appears to nestle among the trees at the foot of the hill, although the hill actually rises from the top of the lane, unspoilt by houses or any other buildings.
