The sky dominated this evening dog walk just after sunset.. Looking out of the window I noted that the light had that magical quality that caused everything to glow. “Let’s go roaming in the gloaming!” I said to @shepherdmanswife . She gave me a somewhat quizzical look, since she did not know what the gloaming was, and whether or not it was safe to roaming into it. I pointed out of the window at the fluorescing countryside, and we each grabbed a camera and a dog, and headed out. I’m afraid that my photographic skills cannot capture the quality of the light or the trees and hedges that somehow managed to be shadowy and glowing at the same time, and so I restricted myself to a shot of the sky.
