We spent a few hours at the Battlefield heritage steam railway last weekend, partly for photographic purposes, and partly for tea and cakes at the platform café. @shepherdmanswife was busy with her camera, taking this photograph as the steam train arrived, took more as it stood at the platform, walking in front of the engine for a good point of view, and then walked back along the platform to photograph the engine being moved to the other end of the carriages. It was shortly after this that she realised that her camera may have been enjoying a day out, but her SD card was still at home on the kitchen table. I lent her mine, but I don’t think that the engine driver would have manoeuvred the engine back to the front of the carriages for Take Two, and so some opportunities were missed. A lesson for us all!
Nice crisp shot of the old train!
