We spent a little while alongside Bow Lake –we just loved the reflections, and took a lot of photos, which was just as well, since they proved to be the last classical Rockies reflections in a still lake that we saw on our trip. If we had known this, we might have lingered even longer. I actually found the reflections in Bow Lake more interesting than reflections of mountain peaks – each headland on the far shore partnered up with its open reflection to make an arrow, each arrow different, depending on the character of the headland. But we had to move on to Lake Louise, where we were hoping to see more bears, and so even @shepherdmanswife put her tripod away without much protest. After all, it was just another pristine reflection set amongst gorgeous scenery, which is quite normal in the Rockies!
