I’ve posted snowdrops before, but those were elsewhere in the County, whereas these are local, spotted on Saturday growing alongside one of our regular dog walks. I know that there are places that have drifts of snowdrops, covering the ground like a sprinkling of, well, snow. There are plenty of Snowdrops around us here too, growing in hedgerows and grass verges, field hedges and woodlands, as well as in local gardens, but they grow in clumps rather than drifts, sometimes isolated as this clump was, but more commonly among other groups of snowdrops, like patches of snow that has almost melted.
Nice framing with the fence.
