Morella by shepherdman

Morella

We visited Morella, a medieval walled mountain village about an hour from our villa in Spain. I enjoyed this trip – on the whole @shepherdmanswife and I prefer mountains and villages than sea and sand. Although the route wasn’t a typical narrow mountain road, it was a very winding road that gave tasters of the village as visual samples, the village repeatedly appearing around a bend, and then disappearing as the road twisted away, only to re-appear closer and larger after the next bend. The anticipation was gratified when we finally parked and walked through the wall into the village to be greeted by architecture like this.
Great pov and contrast, love that blue roof

Fabulous architectural image -- the blue in the dome and the blue in the sky is quite a pairing.
