Bradgate Park, a deer park north of Leicester, where, a couple of weeks ago, we went for a walk with the visiting Canadian branch of the family. @shepherdmanswife spotted some fallow deer, and sneaked up behind a tree for a closer shot, while the rest of us settled comfortably on a convenient bench to wait. We spotted these roe deer crossing the river a few yards further down the river from @shepherdmanswife‘s tree. “Behind you!” we cried pantomime style, in a sort of whispered shout, and @shepherdmanswife got her photo of the other variety of deer common in the park, while I managed this distant shot from our bench.
I tried to tell my sister about a picture once, she didn't hear me and when I turned to take my picture I had lost the opportunity. My lesson was to get my shot first and then get my sisters attention.
