Grasses along the damper dog walking routes have grown tall and lush, with silver fronds shining in the sunlight above our heads. The grasses around the field edges are not as tall, but many still have silvery seed heads, that glisten and glow if you can catch them with the sunlight behind them. It seems to have been a bad year for pollen this year, with tree pollen and now grass pollen casing levels to be “very high”. No-one in the Shepherdman household suffers from hay fever, but we have had some very sneezy visitors.
