Wild honeysuckle by shepherdman

Wild honeysuckle

Honeysuckle, a climber that I always feel looks at its best in the countryside, rather than constrained in the garden. We have honeysuckle in our garden that climbs over neighbouring clematis and envelopes a Christmas Tree planted outside a few years ago. Periodically it has to be cut back. This specimen is more fortunate, able to wonder freely over the field hedgerow, to the delight of dog walkers on one side, and motorists on the other.
You say its a wild plant - maybe they do well like this. We have one and it gets aphids on it all the time! Not all the lovely flowering as seen here!
