Another shot from yesterday evening on Croft Hill. Oddly this shot looks East, away from the setting sun, but the salmon-pink blush extended around the whole horizon. The lighting on the Hill itself was as you would expect, the western slope almost glowing in the final moments of daylight, while the eastern side had already been claimed by the dusk, in almost darkness. Winter has arrived at last, and it was cold on the Hill, with, depending on where you are from, a keen wind (cuts straight through you) or a lazy wind (can’t be bothered to go around you).
