When the forecast for the valley where we were staying in Wales was for "fog" we knew that we would see the fog rolling up the valley from Bala. First the hilltops to the west would disappear, then the sunlit fields would be viewed in soft focus, and eventually all we would see in all directions would be a blanket of white, with just an occasional glimpse of the the pastures on the far side of the valley.
This picture is a perfect example of the way so much of Wales still looks beautiful, even when cover in a blanket of mist and drizzle! Beautiful lake, beautiful photo!
Stayed in the Bala many years ago, went camping, it rained constantly, the tent flooded and car broke down several times. Seems like it's hardly changed since. Thanks for the memories :)
