Mackenzie Beach, near to Tofino, Vancouver Island,is a laid back sort of place. On a fine and warm evening, as the sun sets over the horizon, the golden light illuminates couples and groups carrying armfuls of firewood, and as dusk settles across the beach camp fires provide points of light along the length of the beach. This chap provided live entertainment into the night, a gentle accompaniment to some of the somewhat discordant "choirs" singing into the night around some fires. As we headed back to our cabin, a few metres back from the beach, we reflected that perhaps it was as well that the cabins immediately adjacent to the sand were already reserved when we made our booking.
@joansmor Amen! I remember well the posting of a close up of a gravel road - it was the story that we all loved and took it to the popular page - all about what this stretch meant and why it was meaningful!
Saw a similar scene in a park in Brisbane - such peaced out scene!
