We followed these two after they came down the track leading from Croft Hill during this evening's walk, the light fading early under dark cliouds as thunder rumbled and lightning illuminated the horizon. The thunder and lightning faded away before we got home, but was followed by heavy rain - coming down from the Hill was a wise move. A severe thunder storm last night woke us at 3am, and set the dogs barking. I came downstairs to calm them, but Tia, not normaly allowed upstairs, decided that this was not a night ot be left alone, and followed me back upstairs and settled beside the bed.
