The sun descending behind the quarry edge. The path leads up above the higher tree on the right, and, at a time when the quarry edge was not as securely fenced as now, one of our dogs followed a rabbit over the edge. Luckily she was stopped by a shrub growing from the cliff, scambled back up, and we hauled her back over the edge. No doubt the rabbit was hiding in the shrub roots.
