We followed this chap, on his classical 1960s (I think) scooter, for a few miles as we descended the country lanes into Boscastle. When we pulled into the village car park he continued up the hill out of the village. Later in the day he passed us as he travelled through the village in the opposite direction. I'm sure that he was going faster - no doubt his picnic basket was now empty.
Wonderful view of the fields and the sea. We have folks on scooters traveling on our roads. (We call these scooters "liquorcicles" - cicle sounding as in icicle - because most often they are offenders who have lost driving licenses due to driving while impaired).
