Sam is a very confidant pooch, trotting ahead to explore, in this case on the towpath of the Llangollen Canal. I am pleased to say that, after a lot of repeated training, he now waits on command, and comes when called, which is why we don't mind if he is ahead, as long as he is in sight, and not too far in front.
