Thank you for all your get well wishes over the past few days.
Unfortunately I went from bad to worse and ended up in hospital and have been diagnosed with double pneumonia and pleurisy. I am going to be here until monday at the earliest as they say I am very poorly. To be honest, I have had worse chest infections but didn't get sent to hospital. I think it's luck of the draw. I have been really fed up. No camera, no laptop as they said I could go home today, then at the last minute kept me in. @shepherdman is missing me. I've written notes on how to set the washing machine and dishwasher! He has brought my laptop and hard drives into hospital today which is wonderful. I have the whole of the last series of 24 to watch and have lots of photos to organise for a photo book of our Canadian trip this september.
So I am happy now, but wonder if I will be fit enough to go to my granddaughters christening next saturday in Leeds (100 miles away). And then there's Christmas with so many coming to stay. Hey Ho, no need to stress this year as I now have a valid excuse for things going wrong!
Have a good weekend.
Oh no....so sorry to hear....it was probably the pleurisy that got you into the hospital...I hear it's quite painful. Get better quick...but try to enjoy the downtime with your computer!
Chantal, I'm so sorry to hear how sick you are. I know it's boring to be in hospital, but I'm glad you are being looked after. Your health should come first. Beautiful focus on this bluetit.
lovely little bird shot. Get better soon and take care of yourself. Too many wet ground shots????????????? Feel better soon!! Your health is the most important thing there is!!!
Ow no, being in the hospital is never good! Hope you get well soon! and don't stress over what is to come, you will have enough time worrying about it when it comes ;) very lovely bird shot!
I had pleurisy in my youth a couple of times and it was not fun. Painful to breath. You have my utter sympathy. Happy you have a computer now. Being w/o computer and camera is a little bit of hell. Be happy and take care so maybe you can get to that christening.
Gorgeous capture - Take the time out as an opportunity to rest - pneumonia and pleurisy are so painful to endure - you have my sympathy and my thoughts and prayers.
Chantal, I am so sorry to hear you've been I'll. I am running behind after crazy weeks and have been late catching up. Hope by the time you read this you're feeling better.
Oh, Chantal, I am so very sorry at how sick you have been, especially during this holiday season. Double pneumonia and pleurisy is nothing to laugh at, so I am glad they are keeping there to monitor your health and your progress. Amazingly enough things that we deem important take care of themselves eventually, or they become less important to attend to. I hope you feel much better real soon, but try to enjoy the downtime and don't worry about much. Thinking of you...
