Thank you for all your get well wishes over the past few days.
Unfortunately I went from bad to worse and ended up in hospital and have been diagnosed with double pneumonia and pleurisy. I am going to be here until monday at the earliest as they say I am very poorly. To be honest, I have had worse chest infections but didn't get sent to hospital. I think it's luck of the draw. I have been really fed up. No camera, no laptop as they said I could go home today, then at the last minute kept me in. @shepherdman is missing me. I've written notes on how to set the washing machine and dishwasher! He has brought my laptop and hard drives into hospital today which is wonderful. I have the whole of the last series of 24 to watch and have lots of photos to organise for a photo book of our Canadian trip this september.
So I am happy now, but wonder if I will be fit enough to go to my granddaughters christening next saturday in Leeds (100 miles away). And then there's Christmas with so many coming to stay. Hey Ho, no need to stress this year as I now have a valid excuse for things going wrong!
Have a good weekend.
So sorry to hear this Chatal, I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm sure you will be well enough for next week if you take it really, really easy! Beautiful light and bokeh.
Just concentrate on getting better. The other stuff will wihen ll happens or not as it was meant to be. Your health is the most important thing right now.
Lovely capture! Love your pov.
Oh my, I'm glad you have good company and hope you're feeling better soon! Get some rest! I love the dof and warm light in this photo. The focus on the leaves is lovely.
Sending a cyber hug, you must be feeling wretched. At least with modern technology you can still keep connected, do they have free wi fi? Great pov to show off those lovely leaves.....
Oh Chantal, what a mess for you!! Here's hoping for your speedy recovery and smooth path toward being back to normal. If you can 'enjoy' your quiet time, here's to progress on your photobook and time to catch up on some engaging TV.
Your job right now it to rest and get well - the rest will take care of itself. If you push too hard to do all the things you want to do you may only get sicker and end up having to take more time to recover. Please be good to yourself xx BTW - lovely photo!
I was drawn by your photo. Our leaves went from green to this brownish color and I found no inspiration for photos this autumn. I wish I'd been looking at light the way you did.
Reading your caption, I'm awfully sorry to hear you're struggling with your health. Be good to you. They don't put a person in the hospital these days unless it's serious.
Been there, Chantal, no fun at all. But the important thing is to take care of yourself and not stress about these other happenings and possible misses in the near future (I say this but I never follow my own advice!). Do take care, it's important.
Hope you feel better soon and don't stress over the upcoming holidays. Christmas will come, even if all the little chores don' get done...just get well enough so you can enjoy it.
Oh, no! Your shot is lovely, but that is small potatoes against your diagnosis. Take your time to heal up, don't rush, let the holidays go, as much as you can.
This is a beautiful photo. Lovely POV. Rest, drink plenty of fluids and relax. Hope you feel better soon. As my husband says to me from time to time, "Let the world spin without you for awhile."
This is a great image, with lovely golden light on the leaves. You sound just like me - thinking ahead to how you're going to manage the next things coming up. Glad you've got something to do now anyway, and hope you improve rapidly.
Lovely light on the leaves. Take care of yourself and rest and then you will make it to Leeds. I'm sure your Christmas visitors can do most of the work. Your health is more important
I'm so sorry to hear you aren't well! But at least you now have your computer and photo access. This one is wonderful for its textures, and the feel of walking/looking up into the light, which I hope is a good sign for you!
Oh my goodness. I have been out of touch with 365 lately and just spotted that you are in hospital. I have had pleurisy but add double pneumonia to that and you must be feeling pretty horrible. Hope you are on the mend again soon.
Lovely capture! Love your pov.

Congratulations on making the Trending Page. Well deserved.
