Looks lovely doesn't it? Lovely and warm? It's an optical illusion. The sun was near the horizon and shining that beautiful gloaming all over the trees and the died back bracken. In reality it was absolutely freezing with a cutting northerly wind. Look at the 2 benches. They're both empty. I can imagine sitting there eating an ice-cream and sunbathing in the sun looking at this photo. Dream on.....summer will be here soon enough!

You're right, sometimes a photo can be deceiving, It looks like a lovely late afternoon in July, or as in this case maybe not. Thanks for the illusion, well done:)
