Akaroa, NZ by shepherdmanswife

Akaroa, NZ

Today we moved on to Akaroa as we get closer to Christchurch for our flight home to the UK later this week. This town is so quaint. It appears to be French with road names in French as well as cafe's, shops, cemetery's, restaurants all with French names. It's very pretty and has it's own harbour. This is one of the piers where you can get on a boat to go on a sea trip. The sun was going down behind the hut at the time.
superb light and shot

You have to get a picture of the lighthouse! Though I do like this quiet one taken at the right moment!
