B&W Challenge, Day 5

Or, brakes and rotors. Dh changed them on my van today.

Tho it took a couple weeks to do the 5 day challenge, I think I've learned quite a bit from it. I've always liked b&w, but felt that the pics were better in color, so didn't spend too much time manipulating into b&w. My opinion has changed. This pic, for instance, seemed to tell a better story in b&w than it did in color. The bride and groom's hands pic was much better in b&w. I still think the duck photo was better in color, but the color is pretty minimal. So, it's been an eye-opening experience, and I think I'll play with the b&w more now.

Nice shot Ashley.The reason it works well in b&w is that you don,t have colours to distract you from the main theme of the photo i e the tyre.

Most definitely contains the journalistic story-telling aspect of street photography that's for sure! Really great image, I'm in full agreement of your choice for B&W, it very much fits the grunge. Very nicely done!
