Shipbuilder

This is one of the guys at the shipyard. We tossed another tug in the other day, and while I was out there with my camera, he started being silly and striking poses to get my attention. So I snapped him a few times! Not a sharp photo by any means, but this shot captures his personality perfectly!
Fabulous expression!

Hi Ashley. Love this portrait. What about a push to take a slightly scary photo where the main subject is a silhouette. How does that sound?

Haha, what a fun shot. It's so nice when people are keen to pose.

Hey Ashley! I am your get pushed partner for this week and I have loved going back through your photos to get a feel for what you shoot and how. I really enjoyed this shot in particular as it draws attention to your subjects inner personality. For this week's challenge, I want you to push yourself to think more abstract- take a picture a day that blurs/distorts/softens the lines so even though your audience cannot see an identifiable shape/person/animal/object etc, they feel the emotion you are portraying through the color, movement and collection of shapes. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week and so excited to be in this challenge with you! Good luck!
