Launch was scheduled for last night at NASA Wallops Island but got scrubbed at T-2 minutes. I was bummed because I was all set up to catch the photo of the rocket from my backyard as it shot up by the full moon. Rescheduled for tonight, so hubby and I packed up a picnic AND the kids and headed to Chincoteague. The kids stayed awake for it, and Garrit absolutely cheered! Great night, great weather, and no bugs!
I was standing there trying to decide if I had time to run back to the car and grab my other glasses because I realized I still had my readers on, and TOTALLY forgot to zoom in! Cannot BELIEVE I didn’t zoom in!!! So the shot’s pretty pixelated from cropping so much, but here it is nonetheless.
How exciting for you and the kids to see such an event. One the kids will no doubt remember for the rest of their lives.
Hope you are keeping well.
