Stickers
I don’t know the name of this plant, but we call them stickers. Most of them are still soft, but in a couple of weeks they will be sharp as needles.

I don’t think I recall seeing them at this stage of their development, but they are a real pain to get them out of a dog’s coat, especially if the dog has quiet a long coat. Unusual and interesting image!
