Filaree by shutterbug49

Filaree

We have had what seems like an unusual amount of rain this year. Apparently it only seems unusual because we have had so many years of drought. Whatever, we have fields of beautiful wild flowers right now. This is called broad leaf filaree. There are some grasses in the photo, but a lot of the greenery is the interesting “hairy” parts of this flower. The blossoms are no larger than a fingernail.
Lovely capture of these beautiful little flowers. Wish we had your rain.
