Being that today is Memorial Day when we, in the United States, remember those who served and died defending our freedom, I thought it appropriate to photograph the headstone of a veteran. In this case a veteran of the first war our young nation endured. To all who made the ultimate sacrifice we as a nation are eternally grateful!!
This is quite powerful & touching at the same time Skip....well thought out and excecuted! Whenever I see gravestones I always wonder who the person is behind the name on the stone and what their life story was! Wonderful Memorial Day tribute!
