The day started out frigid and remained quite cold throughout. With the wind chill it was 5 to 10 below zero (-20C to -23C). On my way back home this evening the clouds thinned out and the sun shone through briefly before setting. I froze my hands taking these few shots!
What a brilliant sky! Well worth having cold hands! I skipped the letter v because of icy roads tonight. I want to take some photos of my village, but after I fell on the ice Sunday I am a little more cautious venturing out.
@jenniferruge - I hope you are okay! We got hit with snow yesterday afternoon and roads and walkways got slick in spots. But the worse of it is the very low temperatures. I am venturing out to night for camera club and I still need to come up with a "V" word.
Beautiful and great hdr choice! Fav

I love this! I get so excited I usually hop right out of the car. It's happened that way the last two mornings. I just love how the light plays off the clouds. Gorgeous!
@lynnb - Thank you for the suggestions and the Fav Lynn!
@espyetta - It was brutal MaryBeth! I couldn't operate my camera with gloves so I was bare handed. My hands haven't hurt that bad since I use to work outside in that kind of weather!
