Peonies

We went to a graduation open house last night and our associate pastor's wife told me that she loved peonies. I told her that ours were getting ready to open. Today I looked and there were a number of them open. So I picked two of them and tried my hand at setting up a still life.

Really nice. The very subtle shape of the vase, and the dark reflection at the bottom, add a beautiful touch.
