Oh The Weather Ouside Is Frightful

On the evening of November 26th we were hit by a major snow storm. I am guessing I shoveled between 7-8 inches out of our driveway. Then on the 27th I shoveled an additional 4-5 inches. So we got unofficially we got about 11-13 inches of snow. This is the railing on our front porch and the pine tree in front of the house.
Looks like a Christmas card.

A beautiful "Christmas card" looking photo. Much easier to look at from sunny South Florida! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

This is beautiful, Skip. Looks like you got hit big time with the snow. You got more than us. They were predicting a lot here but somehow we missed most of it the second night.

Now, if you just put a red bow on it, it would be a perfect Christmas card! Great shot!! fav

How crazy to have that kind of snow storm in your part of the country!! It's a beautiful shot though. Probably not many opportunities for winter wonderland photography!

@pflaume - Snow is a normal part of winter in northwest Pennsylvania. This was one of those time when we got so much in a short period of time. We were surprised as to how clear most of the roads were the following day. Some schools went on a 2 hr delay and a few cancelled. The bad thing was that it was a wet snow, so it was a back breaking job shoveling it.

@skipt07 Silly me, Skip! For some reason I thought you were from Georgia! Yes, I went to school in PA so I know all about the winters there. You will have many opportunities for winter wonderland photography!!

What a brilliant image and perfectly processed! And the title is perfect -- except now that song's phrase is buzzing around in my head and won't stop.
