Remnants of The Fall

I got ambitious today and decided to get back into a walking regimen. As I walked I looked for things I might photograph. I came across a ditch full of water. The water covered these leaves left over from last year and preserved them from rotting. Using my polarizing filter I did away with the reflections on the water. I was surprised how colorful they still are.
Great shapes!

I was very surprised as to how much color were still in some of the leaves. But in the same ditch within feet of this a lot of the leaves had the blue/grey color and still a little further distance they all were a brownish color. Who knows?

Very nicely focused with such a dark light and the water! Makes a great picture!
