The Caine Road bridge was built in 1986 in Pierpont Township. Built in honor of Ashtabula County's 175th anniversary, it was the first of only five bridges in Ohio featuring the Pratt Truss design. This is a filler.
@tabarlett - Thank you for all your kind comments Tammy!
@gilbertwood - I am grateful for your fantastic comment Denise!
@joansmor - Thank you Joan! After we had left home I thought that I should have looked at the pictures of these bridges online to see how other photographers shot them. I am glad I didn't because none that I found of the Nitcher Road bridge were from the angle I took from. I just happened across a video by Scott Kelby since I took these photos and he suggests what he calls working the scene. It's over an hour long but I came away with a new way of looking at photography. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpHMuK7Htic&index=1&list=FLMrhApPGZuisRPC0irIkW0A
@cimes1 - That is the same Ashtabula County. I found that the State of Ohio has 125 covered bridges. Thank you for your wonderful comment and fav!
@skipt07 I've added it to my favorites hoping I will find time to watch in the next couple of days. As I learn how all the buttons, switches and menu's on my camera work I realize I need to know more about composition.
@joansmor - What I liked about this video is that a well known photographer shows that not everything a big named photographer points his camera at and shoots is a work of art. and he gives some down to earth advice. I hope it helps as you try to hone your skills too!
@vickisfotos - Go for it! I look forward to seeing your bridges! I'd like to plan out another trip to Ohio and do more.
@paulam - I am flattered by your wonderful comments Paula!
@kerristephens - Thank you Kerri!
@danette - Thank you Danette! Signs signs everywhere signs. Do this don't do that can't you read the signs?
