My wife and I stopped at a local Amish farm to buy some corn and tomatoes for a cookout at my daughter's. While I waited in the car I saw this Amish man come to the door of his shed and lean against the door so he had better light to read a booklet.
@maggiemae - They do. We are seeing more of them riding in open buggies in nice weather and it is sometimes funny to see them trying to hold their hats on their heads while steering the horse.
I really like the composition of your shot - I like the way his head is bent just so, so the hat covers his face entirely. Great eye! And better yet - great timing to catch a man reading (possibly...) instructions.
