Another photo from our Living Treasures trip. The flamingos were taking a siesta which is comical to see. They usually stand on one leg, twist their neck around so that they are facing backwards and bury their bills into their back feathers. I zoomed in on this one to focus on the feather details.

Bless you all for stopping, commenting and adding your favs! Life is in a swirl again and this week has started out crazy including today. My oldest granddaughter has been spending the past month and a half with our youngest daughter and we have been enjoying having her near. She is supposed to head off to Illinois to go to college the beginning of next week so we are trying to spend as much time with her as possible. The week before our daughter and two of our granddaughters were on their way back from a brief vacation in South Carolina when their car hydroplaned and ended up on some guard rails. Praise the Lord no one was hurt, but the car was totaled. Once again we find ourselves on an emotional roller coaster. I will be posting (past photos) and commenting when I can squeeze it in. I am glad those settings worked for you Danny!
That is a lot to deal with in your life. I belong to a thread on Weight Watchers for Caregivers and Grievers, The one thing I know is you have to be selfish and take care of yourself first, because then you are able to help someone else. So enjoy your family and we will be here when you have time for us.
Fav'd for the frame-filled image of salmon-pink flamingo features and the incredible focus on that eye. Thankful your family members are okay after the accident. May the emotional coaster ride even out soon.
