Annually on Labor Day, Buhl Day is also remembered. Frank and Julia Buhl left as a gift to the residents of the area, Buhl Park. Five hundred acres, containing a lake, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a free nine-hole golf course, picnic pavilions and childrenโs playgrounds. There are five miles of beautiful drives and many other features. Everything in connection with the Buhl Farm is free to the public. On Buhl Day the park is bustling with people and all sorts of activities and ethnic foods to the joy of those who attend. One of the long time features is the car show. Here is one of the beautifully restored automobiles of yesteryear. I made the mistake of only taking my 55-250mm lens. So to keep keep as many people out of the shot I couldn't back up to capture much more of the car without people walking in between me and the car.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! In this area there are many old car enthusiasts. There is a convenience store/gas station and every Friday evening during the summer months many of the owners of these beautiful cars gather and line the parking lot with their cars for 3-4 hours.
@danette - It is a beautiful car. Personally I thought it was one of the best there. But I guess that's why I singled it out :)
I am doing much better! Thanks for asking.
