Good design is total harmony. There's no better designer than nature - if you look at a branch or a leaf, it's perfect. It's all function. Art is different. It's about emotion. It's about suffering and beauty - but mostly suffering! ~ Diane von Furstenberg
I went out on this cold blustery day in hopes of getting water beads on the tips of these leaves. But it was very windy and the drops couldn't form or maybe I should say, they wouldn't last for very long on the tips. I used a black piece of cardboard for a background, therefore the texture.
I have said it before on other pictures, but I just love the single leaf or group of leaves. Think that is hard to get right and you certainly did that.
@_catherine_ - Thank you very much Catherine! If you could only have seem me with a spray bottle to apply water, holding the cardboard so as not to bump the branch and knock the water drops off the leaves (The wind was bad enough) and the remote for the camera. . .it wasn't a pretty sight. As a matter of fact I am glad that you couldn't see me. :-)
