In an effort to try and get a lot of outside work done before the temperatures dropped on Wednesday, I didn't get out with my camera to attend any parades or other events recognizing our veterans and active duty military. So I am back posting this collage I made today after visiting a local cemetery that is the final resting place for many veterans and this monument. I am grateful for the recognition that many corporations and individuals bestowed on the veterans and those who are active duty for their service!
What a moving and touching tribute to our brave men and women... Would that it should never happen, but what we have is far to precious to leave it unguarded. We certainly thank them all for their sacrifice.
@Weezilou - It is sad to think that as long as man has lived together on this planet we still haven't found away to get along with one another. Somewhere in the world an individual rises up and decides that they know what is best. But usually it is at the cost of someone else's freedoms or well being.
@dmdfday -You are very kind Diane! Thank you!
