This is my German Chocolate birthday cake baked by my wife. My granddaughter helped me blow out the candles. I thought I'd mention that other than a slight crop and changing from RAW to DNG (it's a Photoshop thing I mentioned before) to JPG this is a SOOC.
@gilbertwood - Thank you Denise it was a good one! twenty-four candles. If my wife and put a candle for each year she would have had to make a bigger cake and it would have taken a fire extinguisher to put them out! :)
Wonderful capture of your great birthday cake. Glad your granddaughter helped you, hope you have more grandchildren to help you in the years to come as the amount gets bigger... LOL (just kidding, take it with a smile)
@paulaw - Thank you very much Paula! I was as good as it looks!
@anazad511 - Thank you so much Ana! I have four but two live in Florida, one in Illinois and the one lives near us. I don't think there will be any more.

Thank you all so much for your continued support and friendship! I had a very enjoyable birthday. My wife took me, our youngest daughter and granddaughter out for dinner at a very nice restaurant. It's called Rachel's Roadhouse. It is a part of a small restaurant chain that started with 5 and has expanded to 8 in different cities but they all carry the same names. This is the original Rachel's. After that we went to our house and indulged in the yummy cake. I love German Chocolate. Must be the German ancestry. My daughter and granddaughter gave me a collage picture frame filled with pictures of our 4 grandchildren! And my wonderful wife bought me my Canon 70D which I have been enjoying for close to a month!
Happy 20th Birthday! That's how many candles I counted. Wow you started young to be a grandfather! Love German Chocolate Frosting! Hope you had a great birthday!
@kwind - Thank you Kim! My wife did inherit her mother's baking skills!
@seattlite - Thank you Gloria! It was!
