Nicely done it has a real vintage look to it and you've managed to avoid including any electric switches wires etc. That is the kind of thing that often spoils my attempt at shots like this.

@gardencat - Thank you Joanne! The store where I took this allows a photography to come in. I don't know what if anything the store gets out of the photography. So the background and maybe even the chair belongs to the photographer. So, no unwanted distractions. If there was PhotoShop works well to eliminate them.

@pflaume - We had the chance to watch other children while we were in line. The little girl in front of us was all dressed up in her Christmas finery. She looked so cute. She was happy as she looked at the many toys that were strategically placed along the line. But when it became her turn you could see a change come over her. She cautiously walked up to Santa and hit on his knee but she was not enjoying it as much as you would have thought a few minutes earlier. The photographer said, "Okay smile" and a sweet smile appeared.
