Our feeder was inundated today because of the freezing temps. There were 7 Blue Jays at one time, many times throughout the day. It made me think about how people would behave if all they did was eat all day to keep warm. At this time the temp was 0°F (-11C), -24°F (-31C) windchill.
@swguevin - Normally we don't see them at the feeder much. Occasionally you might see two or three. Buth with the frigid temps they have been at the feeder almost around the clock.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful encouraging comments and favs! I am sorry for my limited commenting on your photos as of late. I have been so involved with my granddaughter's pictures. I try to peek in every now and then. While it was exciting to take her pictures for her, I wasn't prepared to the post work. I hope to finish up next week and hopefully get back to, "Normal".
