Cedar Waxwing by skipt07

Cedar Waxwing

The Cedar Waxwings are visiting our crabapple tree. I am not sure if they didn't migrate or if they are back already. The tree is right outside of our enclosed porch so I was shooting through glass. I was fighting reflections and streaks. Looks better surrounded by black if you have time.
Ha! I can guarantee they didn't hibernate. Great capture Skip.

What a gorgeous little thing! I love the gradient in his feathers and love how you captured him mid-snack!

A beautiful fav. capture of this lovely bird. Great timing to.

Perfect timing for this beautiful capture! Great job! I find these guys tough to capture since they move around so much in search of food. I have to be in the right place at the right time. That doesn't happen often, but there's always hope. :-)

I love the randomness of FF. Especially when it shows me a bird with a berry! Look, @Taffy -- a twin!
