Young Corn

I have heard the old saying that you can see the corn growing. That sure is true this year. At the beginning of the week this corn was about an inch tall. The cloudy and rainy day was bringing out the greens and these rows of corn really stood out against the wet soil.

A beautiful sight! My parents live in Nebraska and when i go home to visit every summer sweet corn from the field is my favorite thing to eat.
